Jason Wilson
Jason Wilson is a compassionate therapist dedicated to providing a supportive and understanding space for individuals across the lifespan. He is particularly passionate about helping men and adolescent boys improve their emotional well being and achieve their goals. There is a dire need for more clinicians who understand the complexities of men’s mental health and Jason is dedicated to serving the men of our community and our legal system to achieve improved emotional and mental functioning. His approach is rooted in the establishment of a safe and comfortable therapeutic space so that his clients can feel prepared to go on the difficult journey of self-reflection without judgement. Jason utilizes a range of evidenced based therapeutic interventions to address his clients’ presenting concerns, but what makes his approach to therapy unique is his integration of life coaching. Therapy is distinct from life coaching in that therapy is more client led and the goal is to work with a therapist to better understand oneself to make measurable changes. Life coaching, however, is more directive in nature. Jason has found that therapy in combination with gentle life coaching serves his client’s well and ultimately helps his clients to achieve their goals and function at their greatest potential. Jason welcomes clients who are dealing with a broad range of struggles including, but not limited to:
- Anxiety
- Anger
- Self Esteem Deficits
- Mood Management
- PTSD
- Sexual Abuse
- Sex Offender Treatment
- Identity Issues
- Substance Abuse
- Court ordered Treatment
