Dr. Laeli Wilson
Dr. Laeli Wilson is a clinical and forensic psychologist licensed in Virginia, Maryland, and Washington DC. Dr. Wilson also has obtained her PSYPACT certification (Authority to Practice Interjurisdictional telepsychology and Temporary Authorization to Practice) which allows her to practice telepsychology in over 30 states and she is also permitted to practice in person for 30 calendar years in each state within the PSYPACT commission.
Dr. Wilson specializes in general clinical and forensic mental health evaluation. She is an approved forensic evaluator with the Virginia Department of Behavioral Health and Developmental Services Commissioner to provide competency and sanity evaluations in the state of Virginia. She is also a member of the review panel for forensic evaluators in Virginia. She has received training, supervision, and education in civil, family, and criminal law matters. Dr. Wilson also provides general clinical evaluation services to include:

In addition to evaluation services, Dr. Wilson provides general therapy services to adults. She specializes in working with adults going through separation and divorce, especially those experiencing high conflict divorce. As a treatment provider Dr. Wilson takes an individualistic approach to meet each client’s unique needs and goals. She draws on a number of therapeutic techniques to help her clients achieve stability, increased insight, and emotional improvement. Through working with Dr. Wilson, her clients have achieved a greater level of emotional wellbeing through reaching self-actualization. In essence, Dr. Wilson helps her clients become their truest and best selves, whatever that looks like for each individual. It is Dr. Wilson’s belief that every individual has the capacity to reach their fullest potential through introspection, self-understanding, and through making measurable changes to improve one’s life.
Dr. Wilson earned a bachelor’s degree in psychology from Dickinson College in 2012. She earned a master’s degree in clinical psychology from the American School of Professional Psychology at Argosy University, Northern Virginia in 2018. She completed her doctorate in clinical psychology in 2022 at the Chicago School of Professional Psychology, Washington D.C. Dr. Wilson has trained and worked at some of the foremost institutions in the D.C. metropolitan and outlying areas including: the D.C. Superior Court, Eastern State Hospital, the Psychiatric Institute of Washington, Northern Virginia Mental Health Institute, Sibley Memorial Hospital, Medstar Washington Hospital Center, and she also has substantial experience working in private practice. Dr. Wilson completed her predoctoral internship at Southeast Human Service Center located in Fargo, North Dakota where she was provided rigorous training in assessment and intervention within a community mental health setting. Thereafter, she completed her postdoctoral residency at Woodbridge Psychological Associates, PC with a focus on general clinical and forensic evaluation. She is one of the founders and co-owners of REDEFINE Psychological Services.
